This is painted in the early mornings with the help of a live model, in the morning in Vermont at sunrise. It is both a landscape and the portrait of a young girl. She wears a long lace dress to take her invigorating morning walk. The technique is classical and will please art collectors by its careful brush strokes, its vivid fall colors, the green of the lawn contrasting with the reddish fall foliage, the pink dress appearing almost purple in the rising sun.
