Daily painting of a nice model of Gypsy origins. This is painted alla prima with a quick brush stroke. notice that it is not overdone and very fresh. The model posed next to a window so i had plenty of natural colors and half tones as well as north light. This is painted with my own Maroger medium formula. It borrows from the Titian tradition using some wax in it. it allow the paint to both glide and each strokes to stay right where they were applied.
