In this painting,  Krishna is about to speak the Bhagavad-gita to Arjuna, on the battlefield of Kurukshestra, some 5000 years ago. This piece was created specifically to illustrate a new reprint of the Bhagavad-Gita with commentaries by Sripad Narasingha swami. This is a commissioned piece.

Oh your use of light is fantastic on this painting. The way it comes through the cloud break and plays with the gold and the flag is amazing.
